Overview

The Suggested Unclocked Shifts feature helps managers efficiently handle missed clock-ins by automatically identifying and suggesting shifts that haven't been clocked based on the roster schedule.

Benefits

  • Save time by quickly identifying missed clock-ins
  • Maintain accurate timesheet records with roster-based suggestions
  • Reduce administrative burden with bulk import options
  • Ensure compliance with scheduled work hours

Getting Started

Enabling the Feature

To start using Suggested Unclocked Shifts:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Time Clock App
  2. Toggle the switch to enable the feature

Using Suggested Unclocked Shifts

Viewing Unclocked Shifts

When you access the timesheet page, you'll see a section displaying suggested unclocked shifts for your team members.

Managing Suggestions

For each suggested unclocked shift, you can:

  • Import: Add the shift to the timesheet using rostered hours
  • Ignore: Remove the suggestion if the shift wasn't worked

Overnight Shifts

The system handles overnight shifts (e.g., 9 PM - 6 AM) intelligently:

  • Shifts are only flagged as unclocked after their scheduled end time
  • Suggestions appear in the correct day's timesheet
